Rhea Ripley is indeed one of the biggest stars of WWE at this moment. She is currently holding the Women’s World Championship which she won from Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 39. Ripley had been booked quite strongly since becoming a member of The Judgment Day.

WWE Legend and Hall of Famer Lita recently expressed her desire to battle Rhea Ripley. Lita has made a number of appearances recently. She faced Becky Lynch last year at Elimination Chamber, she also won the Women’s Tag Team Championship recently. Speaking with Daily DDT she said that she wanted this dream match. She also remembered her epic showdown with Becky Lynch last year;
“I really felt like my match with Becky in Saudi Arabia was a really nice retirement match,” she said. “I did not anticipate having that opportunity. It felt really satisfying with the whole full circle moment of that paving the way with women in the United States and then when the relationship was established in Saudi Arabia,” said the Hall of Famer.
Lita Wants To Face Rhea Ripley
Lita continued, “Women weren’t even allowed to come to the matches and there were no women performing then going to a featured match with Becky and I on billboards all over the kingdom. It felt really poetic and I felt really happy with that match. I felt good with that and this just feels like bonus time.”
“I actually just saw an interview where Rhea threw that back out there for a match against me,” the WWE Hall of Famer said. “I know we just talked about matches being really great without titles, but I would want that one to involve the title. She’s an incredible talent and I’d love to work with her because it would push me to go beyond my comfort zone I feel like I’ve been satisfied with what I’ve done in this chapter, but I’d love to see how far I can take it.”
Lita did not appear in WWE after getting attacked by Trish Stratus recently in an episode of Monday Night RAW and fans would definitely be delighted to see her returning to action once again. Lita facing The Nightmare would definitely be a dream match. Rhea defending her Women’s World Championship against Lita in a stage like Summerslam or Survivor Series could be a match to remember forever.
