Former two times WWE World champion Drew McIntyre who is a former WWE Intercontinental Champion and a former two times WWE Tag Team Champion recently talked about former Tag Team partner Jinder Mahal and match against the former WWE Champion at SummerSlam pay per view event earlier this year.
Since losing the WWE Championship against the Miz at the Elimination Chamber pay per view event, Drew McIntyre could never elevate himself onto the main event status again. At the Elimination Chamber he defeated AJ Styles, Jeff Hardy, Kofi Kingston, Randy Orton and Sheamus inside the Elimination Chamber.

Drew McIntyre On His Match With Jinder Mahal At Summerslam
After the end of the match, The Miz cashed in his Money in the Bank contract and defeated McIntyre to win the WWE championship for the second time. Miz won the WWE title just to drop it after eight days to Bobby Lashley.
By this time the focus of WWE was switched from Drew to Bobby Lashley. At WrestleMania 37 Drew challenged Bobby Lashley for the WWE championship but ultimately he failed to win the title. He got some more opportunities to get the title back but in all of them he failed.
After that he was never been elevated to the main event status once again in WWE but he was being treated as a solid mid card. He had a number of mid card feuds since losing the feud against Bobby Lashley but never got another opportunity for the WWE championship.

Among these non title feud, his feud with his former Tag Team partner Jinder Mahal is notable. The duo had a feud for SummerSlam and it seemed like to this feud Jinder Mahal will get back to an upper mid card position. But at the end it turned out to be an easy victory for Drew McIntyre.
Of course, the Scottish Psychopath needed this victory more than Jinder and that was exactly what happened the biggest event of the summer. Since beating Jinder Mahal at SummerSlam, Drew had a series of non title feuds and in all of them he came out victorious. Currently he is not involved in any particular feud but surely WWE had some big plan for him for WrestleMania 38.
Drew McIntyre who is a former WWE Intercontinental Champion and a former two times WWE Tag Team Champion recently spoke to Shakiel Mahjouri from CBS Sports where he talked about his match against the former WWE champion Jinder Mahal at SummerSlam pay per view event earlier this year. He said;

“No, definitely not. I didn’t expect Becky to return. The match prior gave the crowd that reaction, that moment. Then when they expected the lengthy match with Becky and Bianca, it took the wind out of the sales by having the match be 20-something seconds.
“To walk out after that, the crowd was a bit deflated. It wasn’t quite what I hoped reaction was. Perhaps it wasn’t what I was hoping for match-wise, but, it gave Drew McIntyre the big win on a big stage, a very dominant win.
“Even though sometimes I’m like, ‘I want to go out there and have the best match possible and do all the cool near falls and stuff,’ sometimes, you have to be saved from yourself and protect the character and elevate the character. That was about elevating Drew McIntyre and it did do that on a huge stage.”
