Drew McIntyre Qualifies From WWE Raw For Money In The Bank 2021 Ladder Match

Randy Orton was scheduled to compete in a Triple Threat qualifier for the final spot at the 2021 Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match on WWE Raw. But for some reason, he was kept off the actual show even after being advertised. In the opener of the show, WWE Officials Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville informed the news to the WWE Universe.

Interestingly, Orton was still advertised before WWE Raw hit the air on USA Network for the match against Drew McIntyre and RAW Tag Team Champion AJ Styles. But Pearce and Deville declared that Orton was unable to compete due to circumstances out of their control. A Battle Royal was then announced to fill Orton’s spot in the Money In the Bank Second Chance Qualifier.

Riddle, Orton’s tag team partner, participated and eventually won that Battle Royal to replace Orton in the main event of WWE RAW. He eliminated Damian Priest to win the match who also used Orton’s theme music while celebrating the victory.

In the main event, Riddle battled with Styles and McIntyre in a lengthy main event that witnessed McIntyre securing the win, pinning Riddle with the Claymore Kick. As a result, McIntyre has joined Riddle, Ricochet, and John Morrison as the four Superstars for WWE Raw who will compete in the 2021 Men’s Money In the Bank Ladder Match.

In additional news from WWE Raw, a rematch has been announced for next week where WWE Champion Bobby Lashley will compete against Xavier Woods in a non-title match. During a face-off segment with Kofi Kingston, MVP said that Woods has as much chance of being on Raw next week as Kingston as of winning at Money in the Bank against Lashley.

This is when Kofi ensured that Woods will be back on WWE Raw, next week after the beatdown from Lashley inside Hell In A Cell. Later on, it was confirmed that Xavier Woods will battle Lashley, next week on Raw in another non-title match. Both men will be back on TV after a week’s absence.
