Drew McIntyre is currently one of the biggest names in WWE. He won the WWE World Championship twice so far, he also featured on the main event of the biggest event of WWE, WrestleMania twice in a row. Without any doubt, it can be said that WWE has high hopes for the Scottish professional wrestler.
WWE signed him previously in 2010 after seeing his impressive performance in the Indies. Vince McMahon tried to push him but it could not work well for the Scottish professional wrestler.
Drew McIntyre Says That A Fortune Teller Once Told Him That He Would Wrestle In WWE
In 2014 he was released by the company and he made his way to the independent circuit and some other promotions like the Impact wrestling. He became quite successful in the process winning so many Championships throughout the globe.
In 2017 WWE decided to rehire Drew McIntyre and since then he has been doing really very good. In 4 years time in WWE he won the NXT Championship once, the Royal Rumble match in 2020, and the WWE World Championship twice. He also won two Slammy Awards last year.
Recently in an interview given to Daily Star, the Scottish psychopath said when he was 10, a fortune teller told him that he would make it to WWE;
“I had my reading and she went into a lot of detail. I was conscious of not saying a word and not giving any clues. And she said I’d be a very famous entertainer. All I heard from ‘famous entertainer’ was that I’m going to make it in the WWE. It’s official, she said it, so it’s going to be so.”
He also talked about the incident how he once sent a letter to get UFO information from the FBI, and they send him documents:
One month’s issue had a sample letter for the FBI to get documents under the Freedom of Information Act, so I filled it out, put in my pocket money and sent it. Never thought much of it until a few weeks later when I got home and my dad was waiting for me with a big dossier five inches thick asking: ‘Drew why are the FBI in America sending you these documents?’
Drew will face Braun Strowman and the current WWE World champion Bobby Lashley in a triple threat match at WrestleMania Backlash. We are hoping to get the best outcome of the match.
