Former two times WWE world champion Drew McIntyre and the current WWE Universal champion Roman Reigns had some amazing matches in the past. The most memorable match of the duo has to be their match from the Survivor Series last year which was a world champion vs. world champion match.

But the thing is, the former two times WWE champion could never beat Roman Reigns in any competition yet. Even at Survivor Series Roman Reigns defeated drew in the champion vs champion match.

Drew McIntyre Wants To Face Roman Reigns Again

There cannot be any doubt in mind that Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns are two of the top wrestlers of WWE right now. So having these two athletes fight each other is always amazing to witness.

Drew mcintyre recently spoke with DAZN to hype WrestleMania backlash pay per view event. During this interview he said that he would want to face Roman Reigns in future again. She also says that he wants to beat Roman this time. He said;

“I hope so because that’s the big match I’d like to see down the line. We only had a few weeks or f-that, I think we had like three shows. Yeah, it wasn’t included. We didn’t have much time to build it. But I know the chemistry has always been there with Roman and I, especially where I’m at as a character now, and he’s doing the most unbelievable work right now. It clicked right away.

“We have such interesting stories, and we’re feeling as good as I’ve ever felt as characters right now. That was cool to give everyone a taste of it. I know it’d be awesome to come back around to it. I just love watching what Roman’s up to right now.”

Drew McIntyre faced the WWE champion Bobby Lashley for the WWE championship at WrestleMania Backlash. This match also included the former WWE Universal champion Braun Strowman.

There were a lot of expectations from this match. There were rumours that the Scottish Warrior will take back his title by winning this match. Even though Bobby Lashley retained the title at the end.
