We are one month away from “The Biggest Event of the Summer” – Summerslam. And if everything goes perfectly, this year’s SummerSlam will be a huge blast. No matches have been made official yet, but some have already been teased. Let us look at all the possible matches for the event.
WWE Universal Championship – Roman Reigns vs. John Cena
Early Match Card Prediction For Summerslam 2021
This match was rumoured for quite a long time for the mentioned event. And it has finally been teased at Money in the Bank. Cena made his return at the event, he did not challenge Reigns for the title yet but he will do it by this week on Smackdown hopefully.
Edge vs. Seth Rollins
This match was also teased weeks before Money in the Bank. Rollins screwed Edge at Money in the Bank and they fought against each other after the match. Clearly this is an indication towards a possible match between the duo at the biggest event of the summer.
Drew McIntyre vs. Jinder Mahal
This is another match that we have predicted quite a while ago. The way the rivalry between the two individuals were growing before Money in the Bank it was quite clear that Jinder would cost his opportunity to win Money in the Bank. Hopefully these two athletes will battle each other at SummerSlam.
WWE Championship – Bobby Lashley vs. Brock Lesnar
If this happens at the event, it would be the most anticipated match of the night. This match has been teased for quite a long time and it was quite clear that WWE was building Lashley as a worthy opponent for Brock Lesnar. This might have been the perfect time to book this match.
WWE RAW Women’s Championship – Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch
WWE has already killed the momentum of Rhea Ripley by letting Charlotte Flair win the RAW Women’s Championship at Money in the Bank. Right now anything is interesting than watching Charlotte Flair carrying the Championship.
As Becky Lynch is coming back very soon, definitely she would be challenging for the title, and if this remains is simple one on one match between the duo, this would not be exciting to see at all. WWE can still fav this match by including Rhea Ripley into it by making it a triple threat match.
WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship – Bianca Belair vs. Sasha Banks
After losing the Championship at WrestleMania 37, Sasha Banks did not appear on any show yet. Really WWE is waiting to book this match on a bigger stage. No stage could be bigger than SummerSlam at the moment to book this match. Sasha is coming back to action very soon. Maybe this is the time we see the match between the two finally.
