Professional wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff who was the former Boss of WCW World Championship Wrestling recently talked about WWE switching to TV 14 rating from long time period of the PG Era.
WWE went through different eras from time to time. The most famous time period of WWE among all of the eras has to be the Attitude Era which started backing 1997 and lasted till the early half of 2002. After the end of the Attitude Era WWE came out with a new era which is famously known as the Ruthless Aggression Era.

Eric Bischoff Comments On WWE Switching To TV-14
This era was also quite famous. We were introduced to a lot of new things during the Ruthless Aggression Era like the brand split for the first time. Back then brand split was hard and it was really amazing. In short, both of these eras were amazing in WWE and they had huge fan bases as well.
In 2008 WWE came out with the PG Era for the first time, and this is where things started to get worse. WWE had to follow a lot of guidelines since they moved to PG. It affected their product badly. Somehow WWE managed to produce good shows, but slowly it was getting worse. It was getting so bad that fans were desperately wanted to get out of this PG product.

Finally it was announced recently that WWE was moving to TV 14 which means the end of the PG era in WWE after 14 long years. Recently Vince McMahon took retirement and his son in law Triple H took charge and became the Head of Creative as WWE started to produce better shows. We can definitely hope better product in WWE in the new TV 14 era.
Eric Bischoff who was the former Boss of WCW World Championship Wrestling recently spoke to Ryan Satin’s Out Of Character podcast where he talked about WWE switching to TV 14 rating from long time period of the PG Era. He said;

“Oh and by the way, if this TV-14 think is true, that means we get a whole bunch of different colors that we can put on our palette to paint our pictures with. We’re no longer restricted to just these few little colors here because these are safe colors and advertisers love these colors, and this is where we make our money.
“But if we’re gonna move into a different rating because the networks are comfortable with the fact that they can increase revenues by going a little older and skewing a little older, that gives writers and producers more colors to paint pictures with.”
