Former two times WWE Tag Team Champion Erick Rowan is not having a very good spell right now. After the death of his tag team partner and real-life friend Luke Harper aka Brodie Lee, he was not seen very often inside a wrestling ring.
Currently, he is seen giving sporadic appearances on the Independent Circuit. But the 39-year-old had some good runs in his past. He had been a member of the much-talked WWE faction The Wyatt Family. He won a tag team title run during his Wyatt Family days with Daniel Bryan or Daniel Wyatt. Apart from that, he also had a good tag team championship run with Brodie Lee or Luke Harper.

Erick Rowan Speaks Out On Luke Harper’s Death
Recently, Erick Rowan spoke about the sad demise of his real-life friend Luke Harper when he appeared as a guest on Front Row Material. He was asked about the death of his friend and he said;
You know, it’s gonna be hard to talk about for a long time just because he was loved by so many people, and everyone can relate to the loss, and in this day in age with the COVID and the way it’s separated people and not having proper goodbyes in life.

Like that was as close to a goodbye I could have, and it’s all last minute which everything is but like, just the chance to say goodbye. To me, it is healing in a sense, and unfortunately, I gotta share those emotions with the world but I also got to share them with people I needed to share them with the most and you know, every day hurts and every day gets a little better at the same time so, you know, it just puts, like I said, everything into perspective.

This last year has been a whirlwind of perspective for me and I’m sure everybody in their own lives and putting together what’s really important to you in your own life when things are taken from you, things are taken away, people. There’s been a lot of loss this year too, and just puts everything into perspective.
Luke Harper’s demise has been one of the saddest moments in wrestling. Both WWE and AEW paid tribute to the wrestler. It is so sad that he had to leave the world at such a young age, he had a lot more to offer. Luke Harper will never be forgotten by the world of wrestling.
