Last week on Monday Night Raw, WWE did another thing that fans really loved to see; the return of Evolution. After ten long years, three of the biggest names of professional wrestling reunited and formed the most famous stable of the Brand Extension era.

Let me start from the beginning about what actually happened on the main event of last week’s Monday Night Raw. Triple H announced that there will be a match for the Shield on that night and the name of the opponent would be revealed before the start of the match.

After The Shield entered the arena, eleven WWE superstars came out one by one. Here are the names of those superstars; Alberto Del Rio, Jack Swagger, Fandango, The full team of 3MB (Jinder Mahal, Drew McIntyre and Heath Slater), Titus O’ Neil, Ryback and Curtis Axel, Alexander Rusev and Bad News Barrett.

The match started as a simple eleven on three handicap tag team match but soon it turned into a riot. Shield could not fight against eleven superstars and soon they fall into their grasp.

All of a sudden, the Music of the famous stable from the early 2000s Evolution hit, and the three members of the Evolution, Triple H, Randy Orton and Batista made their entrance together.

They attacked the Shield straight and beat them down badly. The show ended as the three Evolution members posed over the Shield.

So this was the glimpse of what actually happened on the main event of last week’s Monday Night Raw. The return of Evolution is definitely best for business. This is something that everybody loves to see, and giving the fans what they want is always best for business.

So what to expect next? Would Ric Flair come back to complete the stable of Evolution, or somebody else join the stable? Kane was rumored to join Evolution earlier, but now it looks such a thing would not occur. Another rumor suggests that after Extreme Rules, John Cena would heel and join Evolution. That would be the best thing if done.

But before Extreme Rules, there will something waiting for both The Shield and Evolution. And all the possibilities are indicating towards a six man tag team match between The Shield and the Evolution.

Evolution vs. The Shield would be the anticipated match of Evolution if arranged. And since the event is Extreme Rules, there has to be a special match stipulation for it. But I would say, giving a huge stipulation would not be required here since they are facing each other for the first time. A tornado tag team match will do.
