Paige left WWE, this past July 7th as her deal with the company officially got over after more than a decade. With that, a lengthy chapter of her career will be over as the former WWE NXT Women’s Champion will look forward to starting a new one. The professional wrestling fraternity is buzzing about the next destination of the popular female wrestling superstar.
A few days ago, Paige dropped a tease about the same when she asked her followers on Twitter about their opinion about it. While AEW was the obvious option, many did opine that Impact Wrestling could be the perfect option for her. Impact stars like Mickie James and Madison Rayne also reacted to the post.

Now, the reigning Impact Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace also joined the league of wrestlers who want to dance in the ring with Paige. Grace recently appeared in an interview with Scott Fishman of SEScoops. She was asked who she would like to face outside of Impact, starting with anyone from the AEW roster.

Reigning Impact Knockouts Champion praised Paige
The conversation proceeded with the soon-to-become ex-WWE Superstar Paige as Grace stated the following,
“She’s one of the women that started the women’s revolution. So I think it would be vital for any company to have her and utilize her, even if it’s not in a wrestling role. Something that stood out to me is I think she said she feels 100%, but she’s not cleared. So I don’t know if she hasn’t talked to a doctor or what’s the deal with that, but obviously, I would absolutely love to wrestle her.” (quotes courtesy Wrestling INC)
It will be a dream match for the Impact Wrestling fans as well as the global fanbase of Paige to see her squaring off with one of the current top women’s superstars of this generation in Grace. Recently, she became the 15th woman to enjoy multi-time reigns with Impact Knockout’s Championship after winning the title for the second time in the first-ever Queen of the Mountain match at Impact’s Slammiversary 2022 event.
As for Paige, her contract with the WWE officially ended on July 7th and she also has become a free agent in the professional wrestling circuit. She’s already been booked for two indie shows in a non-wrestling capacity. However, things could change given that her neck injury condition has improved over the past couple of years.
