Pregnancy changed Renee Young’s priority in life

Besides pregnancy was one of the reasons why she was doubtful about keeping up with her WWE schedule. The company regularly hosted shows in Florida when the pandemic was at its peak in the early 2020s. With the will of welcoming a healthy baby, the Canadian journalist was obviously not wishing to attend those tapings.

Renee Young was a guest on an episode of The Bellas Podcast to reveal how her life changed after knowing that she’d become a mother. She said that this pregnancy kept her in doubt whether it’d be safe for her to attend WWE TV tapings in Orlando, especially with the current COVID-19 pandemic. Her health became a real priority.

“That was sort of the thing for me was finding out that I was pregnant and then I was supposed to do the kickoff show for the season premiere of SmackDown on FOX. I was supposed to fly to Orlando and that’s when I asked Brie [Bella] because I just didn’t know what to do about it. I was like, ‘Am I allowed to travel?’” Renee Young continued.

“Or what does that look like? How careful do I have to be with everything? I mean granted, I’ve already had COVID so I’ve not tested my antibodies in a while.”
