Liv Morgan put her body and soul on the line during the SmackDown Women’s Championship match at Extreme Rules 2022. She promised that her opponent Ronda Rousey would have to kill her to win the scheduled Extreme Rules match for the title and that was literally the scene by the end of the match.
The back-and-forth contest at Extreme Rules 2022 saw Liv connecting with multiple chair shots to wear down Ronda. Liv then hit her with a Senton through a table but that wasn’t enough to keep Ronda down. The Baddest Woman on the Planet caught Liv in a submission hold and then transitioned into an innovative maneuver using her thighs to punish the champion.

Also after Extreme Rules 2022 went off the air, Liv blacked out her Twitter account by removing the DP and cover image of her profile indicating that she’s not in a happy place, at all. It will be interesting to see where the former champion goes from here on SmackDown in the coming weeks.
Heading into Extreme Rules 2022, Liv Morgan had already defeated Ronda Rousey twice, becoming the only woman to earn the accolade. Liv won the women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match and then cashed in on Ronda on the same night to win her maiden women’s title in the WWE.
Morgan then defeated Ronda once again at SummerSlam but the match ended in a controversial finish. It appeared that Liv had tapped to the armbar but the referee awarded her the win as Ronda’s shoulders were down at the same time for a three count.
