The Road to WrestleMania 37 will have one final stop in the form of FastLane 2021. After a gap of one year, this particular pay-per-view is back in its original slot to set things up for the Biggest Event of the Year. It seems like the two participants of the Universal Championship match at Mania will get some warm-up at the upcoming show.
It has been confirmed by WWE that the Universal Champion Roman Reigns will face Edge at WrestleMania 37 with the title hanging in the balance. Edge has secured this title opportunity via his Royal Rumble match win, last month. Now he may get a chance to measure his opponent when he faces him in a mega tag team match at FastLane 2021 PPV.
Expected Wrestlemania 37 Matches From WWE Raw Brand
As seen on this past episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Daniel Bryan challenged Roman Reigns to a rematch for the Universal Championship at FastLane 2021 pay-per-view. The two faced at Elimination Chamber but Bryan was exhausted from the earlier Chamber match experience. So Reigns didn’t have much problem putting away his opponent in quick time via the Guillotine Chokehold submission.

FastLane 2021 to have a huge tag team match
Jey Uso eventually attacked Bryan on SmackDown that resulted in a Bryan vs. Uso main event match. The stipulation was that if Bryan wins then he will get to face Reigns for the Title at FastLane 2021. That match ended in a double count-out and Bryan didn’t earn a Universal Championship match opportunity, either.
So the prediction is that WWE won’t host a title match at FastLane 2021. Rather the match that is now expected to take place at next month’s pay-per-view is a tag team match where Edge and Daniel Bryan will take on the team of Roman Reigns and Jey Uso. This match was first mentioned by Edge on SmackDown during a backstage segment.
Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville also mentioned this Tag Team match on SmackDown before having a discussion with the Hall of Famer. WWE hasn’t officially announced any matches for FastLane 2021, to date. The pay-per-view is scheduled to take place on March 21. Except for this tag match, a number-one contender’s match over the WWE Title is also expected to go down.
