WWE Raw star and a former WWE Universal Heavyweight champion Finn Balor who is also a former two times WWE NXT champion recently talked about Dominik Mysterio joining the Judgement Day and shared his reaction after getting to know about it.

Even though it was widely predicted by a lot of wrestling fans that Dominik Mysterio would be joining the Judgement Day but it was still very shocking to see live. At the Clash at the Castle pay per view event, the team of Edge and Rey Mysterio defeated the Judgement Day. After the match, Dominik turned on Edge and his own father.

Finn Balor Shares His Reaction After Getting To Know Dominik Mysterio Joining Judgment Day

It was really shocking to see Dominik attacking his own father in a live stage. A lot of fans were not only predicting this but also looking for this storyline. On the very next week on Monday Night RAW, Dominik was seen joining the Judgement Day. Since joining this heel faction, Dominik has gained massive heat from the fans.

But it had been an excellent storyline so far. The last time we saw a father vs son storyline was back in 2001, it was between Vince McMahon and Shane McMahon. We have also seen a father versus daughter storyline in 2003 between Vince and Stephanie.

But no such storylines were ever booked after that. So this storyline was extremely entertaining so far. We are pretty sure that WWE would book a match between Rey and Dominik at WrestleMania 39.

Finn Balor who is also a former two times WWE NXT champion recently spoke to CBS Sports’ Shakiel Mahjouri where he talked about Dominik Mysterio joining the Judgement Day and shared his reaction after getting to know about it. He said;

“I just want to make Dominik feel more comfortable. I feel like he’s a young guy in a cutthroat industry that probably has a lot of people jealous of him given the fact that his opportunity was maybe rushed due to the fact of who his father was. He has adapted and overcame and fitted into that role in the tag team with his father.

“Just as he’s getting comfortable in that role, he then had to completely change direction and adapt and fit into a new role. So really, if I can just make him feel in any way more comfortable with himself in the ring, that’s my objective. I feel like he’s far exceeded anyone’s expectations already, not only as a babyface, but as a heel.

“He’s really touched the heartstrings of people that really seem to dislike him right now which is the hardest thing to achieve, you know, being a heel character. So he’s got a huge future ahead of him. He has an incredible amount of potential. Obviously, his family lineage speaks for itself. I have no doubt that in the future he will step out and exceed his father’s shadow.”
