LA Knight is one of the most talented wrestlers in WWE today and definitely a fan favourite. In a very short amount of time he has turned out to be one of the most famous wrestlers among the WWE Universe. In spite of working as a heel, earned immense support from the WWE Universe.
But his journey to be the top star was not very easy. He mostly worked as a mid card in the NXT and upon joining the main roster last year, he had to work as a talent agent. Recently he explained that WWE had concerns about his age at first but as soon as Triple H became in charge of the creative of WWE, he restored his wrestler character once again.

But his early career as a wrestler in the main roster was not very smooth. He worked with Bray Wyatt in a month long feud which is considered one of the worst feuds of last year. It would have damaged his career by a big margin but he managed to get himself out of this and today he is one of the most famous wrestlers of WWE.
In spite of being extremely famous among the WWE Universe, he had to face criticism from wrestling Legend and WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash. Most of the fans did not agree with Nash and he had to face backlash, however, Nash stood by his previous stand point when he recently spoke on his Kliq This Podcast;

“There are so many people who agree that LA is doing The Rock/Austin. I mean, the guy’s been in the business for like 10 years, why didn’t he get over anywhere else? If you’re not over in three years, it’s probably just not gonna happen,” Nash stated on his podcast.
“I was like, ‘Okay, this is a rib, right?’ And then, it’s not, it’s just what the character is. So, I get hot, and I’m like, ‘You’ve gotta be kidding me, right?’” Nash recounted.
“But they [fans on social media] said I buried the guy. I didn’t say he couldn’t work, I’ve never seen him in the ring. I just said it [the character] wasn’t very original,” Nash explained. “I’m not gonna apologize. I think it’s a blatant rip-off, but I didn’t mean any harm,” Nash affirmed.
Every big wrestler had to face criticism every now and then but if the wrestlers had potential nothing could stop them from turning out to be top stars. We hope this criticism would not stop Knight from becoming a top star of the promotion. He is indeed very talented and he has all the potential to remain one of the biggest attractions of WWE for a long time.
