WWE’s relationship with Saudi Arabia is quite interesting at this point. The officials just can’t disagree with the demands of the country’s sports authority figures considering the fat paychecks WWE receive from them. This is the reason why they could not force to insert women superstars on the card even after there’s so much backlash over Saudi Arabia banning female athletes from pay-per-view events. So they sketched a backup plan on Smackdown.

This led the fans to experience an exceptional situation as reported earlier. The next Saudi Arabia PPV event will take place on November 1st that falls on Friday. Fox Sports will air the B-show on this day instead of Tuesday presenting an amazing scenario. On the same day, WWE will have to host an international pay-per-view event as well as a Smackdown show, at the same time.

One ought to ask the question to WWE that how it’s possible to telecast and tape the two shows, consecutively on the same day. Well, a recent report may have come up with the answer that reveals that WWE will book an all-women Smackdown special on November 1st. The female talents will stay back in the United States to tape Friday’s show on Fox whereas the male talents will deliver the PPV event.

How Saudi Arabia Shows Will Cause Major Problems For The WWE?

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that WWE has a Smackdown episode scheduled in Newark hours after the next PPV event in Saudi Arabia. It’s not possible to bring back all the superstars to the US all the way from the middle-east country. Hence, there’s a chance that we may receive an all-women Smackdown Live. It will be a perfect idea to wipe out the bitterness of the fans who wants the women superstars to wrestle in Saudi Arabia shows.

Here’s more from the source courtesy of ringsidenews.com,

“One way they could manage is to promote the Friday show in Newark as an all-women’s Smackdown show. That would at least take the place of the Evolution PPV that for whatever reason isn’t on the schedule this year. They could heavily promote it as an all-women’s Smackdown, the first time ever and could use that to offset the obvious criticism of them running if Saudi Arabia doesn’t allow the women to come.”

Loading up an entire weekly episode of Smackdown with only female talents will be quite an unusual thing that WWE has never experienced before. Plus, it will serve as a backup of Evolution part II that is not happening this year due to lack of bigger names on the roster. So if executed well, this special edition of Smackdown could turn out to be historic earning excellent TV viewership.
