Money in the Bank is scheduled for this Saturday and it will take place in the O2 arena of London. The card of the event is filled with seven exciting matches including two MITB ladders, both for men and women. Three title matches are also scheduled with the Bloodline Civil War being the biggest attraction of the show.
This year’s women’s Money in the Bank would feature six wrestlers in total. The decision to add only six competitors had been criticized massively since WWE has a huge roster and they hardly get able to give proper booking to most of them. It was a good opportunity to book some more stars. But the match still has a lot of hype.

Iyo Sky remained the favourite to win the match and she had been the favourite since the match was announced. But there are also rumours that she might become first woman in WWE history to have a failed MITB cash in. Since she is in the Smackdown brand at this moment, we can expect her to cash it in on Women’s Championship.
One of the strongest wrestlers to enter the match would be the former six times WWE Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. Speaking on the “After The Bell” recently, “The Man” explained why she really needed to win to win the MITB contract this year. Here is what the former champion had to say;
Becky Lynch Wants To Win Money In The Bank
“My gosh, I wanted that thing. I wanted it. I have wanted it since its inception. I was in the first Money in the Bank, the women’s first Money in the Bank ladder match where [Carmella] won it, stole it from me,” she said. “I’ve been in four, and every single one, I’ve been the last person holding it before I’ve gotten knocked off. And there’s just something so exciting about that briefcase, and I’ve always wanted to hold it, because anything can happen. Anything can happen. And it’s that element of surprise that you always have.”
“And that’s what we do. That’s what we wrestle for. That’s what we do this for, to elicit a response from the audience. And there is never a better, bigger response than when somebody with a briefcase hits the ring, their music hits, and the place just goes electric because anything can happen. I want that. It eluded me this long, but now, I have gotten myself into a precarious situation,” explained Becky Lynch.
But it is highly unlikely that Lynch would actually go on to grab the briefcase. Someone would definitely cost her this big opportunity. It could be either of Trish Stratus or Zoey Stark. It can even be Raquel Rodriguez who lost her MITB opportunity because of Lynch. Moreover, we do not see Becky Lynch winning the MITB this year.
