Britt Baker is one of the top names in women’s wrestling today. She started her professional career as a dentist but soon she turned her attention towards professional wrestling and in 2015 she started a new career as a professional wrestler. At first she worked on the independent circuit as well as a jobber in WWE.
She spent a short time in the Mighty WWE but she was never been treated as a future star in the promotion. She did not spend a very long time in WWE but she continued her professional wrestling career on the independent circuit and she is still active in the promotions of the indies.
From Dream to Reality: Britt Baker’s Ambition for AEW’s Women’s Blood & Guts Match
Baker has been extremely hardcore ever since joining AEW and she has been pretty successful as well. Recently she spoke to Mark Andrews on My Love Letter to Wrestling where she expressed her desire to have Blood & Guts Match in the AEW. Here is what the former champion had to say;
“Blood and Guts would be awesome to have a women’s match in, Blood and Guts. I hope before I retire that we have, that’s a regular feature of the Blood and Guts show because I guess not a pay-per-view, it’s a show, but just to have the female presence and I think that would be such a spectacle.
Britt Baker Is Active In AEW Since 2019
“We have some crazy girls in AEW who would be willing to put their bodies on the line, and I think that match would really deliver. Then obviously someday when, when the planet’s aligned to have a female main event on a pay-per-view, we haven’t had that yet. And it’s so tough because we have some of the greatest wrestlers in the world, and I understand that.
“So to be asked, the main event of pay-per-view is an immense amount of pressure. And it’s not that we don’t; the women aren’t talented enough to do it. It’s just we are so lucky that we have so many of the best wrestlers in the world.” Concluded the former AEW Women’s World Champion.
In 2019 she signed for the newly founded professional wrestling promotion AEW and she became a star in a very short amount of time after signing with AEW. Needless to say, AEW med her one of the best female wrestlers of today’s generation. We are pretty much sure that she still has a big future lying ahead of herself in the world of professional wrestling.
