Former WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg who is three times WWE World Champion recently talked about challenging Bobby Lashley for the WWE championship. Bill recently made his return to WWE and challenge the almighty Bobby Lashley for the WWE championship at the biggest event of the summer, SummerSlam.

Bill did not appear in WWE for months. One of his last appearance was at WrestleMania 36 where he defended the WWE Universal Championship against Braun Strowman in a losing effort. After that he was not seen in WWE until he made his return recently. It is said that he did not come to WWE because of the covid-19 pandemic.

Goldberg On Challenging Bobby Lashley For The WWE Title

Bobby Lashley defended his title against Kofi Kingston at the Money in the Bank pay per view event last month and he successfully defeated the former WWE champion. The very next week on Monday night RAW, performance three times WWE world champion and the WWE Hall of Famer made his return to challenge for the title.

The Almighty Bobby Lashley took a couple of weeks to respond to the challenge. But he finally accepted the challenge, and the match is now official for the biggest event of the summer. However, rumors suggest Lashley will retain the title at SummerSlam.

Goldberg who is three times WWE World Champion recently spoke to WWE India where he talked about challenging Bobby Lashley for the WWE championship. He said;

“I don’t come back and choose the people I’m going to go after. If I could have come back and chosen one person to go after, it would have been Bobby Lashley. There is a way you should represent the championship title and I don’t believe he’s been doing it properly.

“He’s very callous. In this match, my name should not be Goldberg, it should be karma. He deserves a lot of things coming to him and I will hopefully be the guy who delivers that,”
