Smackdown – Gunther Wants Imperium Vs. The Bloodline Feud

WWE SmackDown star and the current WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther who is also the longest reigning NXT UK champion recently talked about his faction and expressed his desire to have a faction vs faction feud with The Bloodline which is the biggest point of attraction of WWE right now.

The Bloodline is definitely the biggest money draw of WWE right now. It is led by the WWE Undisputed Universal champion Roman Reigns who is the face of WWE right now. The Bloodline is the center of all attractions of the promotion for a couple of years and it had been nearly untouchable throughout its lifespan.

Gunther Wants Imperium Vs. The Bloodline Feud

Throughout the time, the Bloodline had only one faction vs faction feud and that was against the Brawling Brutes. The feud was set for the Survivor Series WarGames and it pretty much ended after the mentioned pay per view event. Needless to say, the Bloodline went on to win the feud.

The Imperium is another favourite faction who could be a good match against the Bloodline. Right now there are two stables that can go on against the Bloodline, that are definitely the Imperium and The Judgment Day. But since both stables are heels, there is a fat chance of it. However, it could definitely be pretty exciting.

Gunther who is also the longest reigning NXT UK champion recently spoke to The San Antonio Express where he talked about his faction and expressed his desire to have a faction vs faction feud with The Bloodline which is the biggest point of attraction of WWE right now. He said;

“I think I would want to say about myself, that it doesn’t matter who’s in charge, my performance speaks for itself. But obviously, I have a good connection to Triple H, because he was the one who brought me in.

“And I think he understood what I am in the ring and understands who I can be in the ring. He has given me the opportunities to showcase that. So obviously, yeah, I would say it benefited me, but if there will be anybody else, I think I will be fine too.

“Yeah, let’s go there (Imperium versus The Bloodline). I think what they have going for themselves now with the group is really entertaining. It’s one of the best group stories I can recall in a very long time.”
