Since his return to Summerslam in 2020, he has been on GOD Mode. On that night, he turned heel and aligned himself with Paul Heyman, a move that changed his career for good. Roman Reigns recently signed a new deal with the WWE that allows him to work limited deals. According to the reports of Andrew Zarian, Roman Reigns won’t be taking extended time off from WWE television. This comes as a contradictory report as some of the other sources are claiming that he was planning on taking time off this summer. The only noticeable change in his new deal will be in this new deal is that he won’t work smaller house shows, going forward.

Roman Reigns was part of a non-title six-man tag match at WrestleMania Backlash, a couple of nights ago instead of putting any of the titles on the night. Previous reports claimed that Vince McMahon is saving Reigns’ first Undisputed WWE Universal title defense for a stadium show and hence it may only be planned around this summer.
