How The Original WWE Diva Sable Cheated On Her Husband For Brock Lesnar
Wrestling fans will always remember Sable as the original Diva who came up with the term itself back in the 90s. The concept of skin-show and receive fans’ attention really began with this lady who used to lit up the TV screen with each presence. Her career was built with controversies, as well which eventually led to a divorce in a later period.
We got to know the details of those instances as dictated by his former husband, Marc Mero. Sable debuted on TV as Mero’s Valet to steal the show. (Originally Sable was the real-life wife of Marc Mero) The storyline continued with Sable disconnecting herself with Mero in due course. She would eventually leave the company after blaming WWE to be a bad environment to work for.
Surprisingly, Sable came back in 2003 to which Marc Mero had no clue about as per his recent claiming. Recently on The Steve Austin Show, former WWE and WCW performer joined WWE Hall Of Famer to talk about a wide range of things including his ex-wife Sable returning to WWE in 2003 and how she started cheating on him.
Mero claimed that Sable decided to come back to WWE without consulting him in the first place. He thought that Vince would never allow Sable in the WWE, ever the way she decided to leave, earlier.
But she managed to convince The Boss, just like that. She had to apologize to some of the big stars of the company at the time in order to get the on-screen character of Sable back. Mero ended up living a miserable life, thereafter,
“And now I’m home watching the kid, taking her to school, and doing all the stuff a dad does, and [Sable]’s on the road. And every night we have this thing where we’d say ‘goodnight’ and my daughter and I would say ‘goodnight’ to her and stuff.
And I remember that the phone calls would start to get less and less. She was tired and she just wasn’t around as much. And, Steve, I was thinking, ‘something’s going on, man. This ain’t right.’ We were really close too and then our marriage just started tanking. After that Playboy thing, it just started to go downhill.” (courtesy wrestlingINC.com)
It was afterward that Marc Mero suspected his wife to be cheating with someone else. He listened to her voicemails and found out more about it. Eventually, Mero would come to know that Sable was cheating him with multi-time world champion Brock Lesnar,
“So I think I called back her phone. I knew her password because we were that close. We knew each other’s passwords and stuff. So I thought, ‘let me delete this before she hears it, right?’ So I called back her number and punched in her code. It says, ‘you have two unheard messages.’
And okay, I have to listen to the first one to get to mine and it was another wrestler talking about them two. And I was like, ‘oh my God,’ Steve, I’ll tell you, we’ve all been in this position before. My heart was broken. You can’t sleep, you can’t eat, you’re sweating.
And I remember thinking, ‘when I find out who this guy is, I’m going to kick the living tar out of this man!’ And then, I found out it was Brock Lesnar! Steve, this gives forgiveness a whole new meaning! Our marriage was over. We ended up getting divorced, but God bless them! They got married. They have kids.”
After getting married to Brock Lesnar, Sable has never really come back in public. She lives a quiet life away from the spotlight. We have never seen her on WWE TV after her 2003 stint with the company came to an end.
