Shinsuke Nakamura and Seth Rollins showcased an excellent battle at the previous PPV event WWE Fastlane. Nakamura’s performance was really great. Even though he lost the match, his fans do not have to fear any burial. He is a solid mid-card so that is not a matter of concern.
But what should be the plan for Shinsuke Nakamura at WrestleMania 37? It does not look like WWE Smackdown creative team will continue his feud with Seth Rollins any longer. He may get a match or a couple on Smackdown but that will not make any difference. In fact, it will make Nakamura’s situation even worse because he will not get enough time to build a new feud for WrestleMania 37. Seth Rollins will continue his feud with Cesaro which will lead to WrestleMania and Nakamura will be erased from the picture shortly.
How Should WWE Book Shinsuke Nakamura For WrestleMania 37?
There is not much time left for Shinsuke Nakamura to build something fresh for ‘The Grandest Stage of them All.’ So what should be the plan? The only possible outcome for him seeming like joining Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. There is nothing to achieve from this match. Even if he wins the match, which we do not he will, it will not make much difference to his current stats.
As we all know Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal is completely useless. We have discussed it in detail in a different article. This match did not offer anything to anyone in past, and we are afraid it will not make a mouthwatering opportunity this year or in near future. So it is better not to participate rather than being featured in this match.
Shinsuke Nakamura cannot be featured in the WWE International Championship picture since it is already held tight by Big E and Apollo Crews and it is highly unlikely that this feud will end before WrestleMania 37. So no chance here either.
There is only one option left for him; there is only one active wrestler in the entire Smackdown squad who does not have a steady feud, and that is King Corbin. After Nakamura gets cut from his feud with Seth Rollins only he and King Corbin will be out of any feud and completely free. So the best option would be to have them feud with each other. This could lead to a great storyline since they used to be partners before. And this match can easily lead to WrestleMania 37.
Moreover, a great wrestler like Shinsuke Nakamura should not sit idle during the biggest event of WWE. So we tried to bring all the best possibilities for him, but unfortunately, there is only one. Let us hope for the best.
