WWE Raw Women’s champion Asuka was scheduled to defend her title against Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 37. But right now she has been sidelined by the covid-19. If the match was on it would have been a rematch from WrestleMania 34. The only difference would have been the champion on both occasions. The match was famous because Charlotte Flair beat Asuka’s streak in that event. So it would have been amazing to see the two battle against each other in the ‘Grandest Stage of them All’.
But as it is stood, Charlotte Flair may not be able to compete at Wrestlemania 37 because she is found Covid-19 positive and it is doubtful if she would be able to make it, this is how WWE is presenting the storyline right now.
How WWE Should Book Raw Women’s Title For WrestleMania 37?
This week on Monday Night Raw WWE Raw Women’s Champion Asuka had a battle with Peyton Royce. After Asuka defeated Peyton Royce successfully she was interrupted by the debuting star Rhea Ripley. The Australian had been one of the biggest names of NXT and she is very famous among the fans. She went through a couple of successful title runs as well. One of those reigns was the NXT UK Women’s championship and the other one was the NXT Women’s championship.
Charlotte Flair decided to face Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 36 for the NXT Women’s Championship after winning the Royal Rumble match. From this one can easily understand how impactful and famous she is.
Rhea challenged Asuka for the title at WrestleMania 37 which Asuka accepted. As of now, the picture shows a one on one battle between Asuka and Rhea Ripley is booked for the title at the biggest show of WWE. But is there any chance of seeing any kind of change in this match?
There is a huge possibility that Charlotte Flair joins the frame just the week before WrestleMania 37 or directly at the event. A covid-19 break does not last long for more than 15 days. So she should be fine by WrestleMania. And just a one on one match between Asuka and a completely new face on the main roster for WrestleMania does not look very reliable either. So there is a huge possibility of Charlotte’s inclusion in the title picture before the event.
So, it seems like WWE might book a triple threat match between the champion Asuka, Rhea Ripley, and Charlotte Flair for the Raw Women’s championship for WrestleMania. If this really gets booked, nothing could be better than this booking.
