The WWE Champion Bobby Lashley successfully retained his WWE title at WrestleMania 37 and now, he will meet Drew McIntyre again in a rematch at the next WWE PPV event; WrestleMania Backlash.
This week on Monday Night Raw, Drew McIntyre defeated Randy Orton and Braun Strowman in a triple threat no 1 contender’s match for the WWE championship.
Hurt Business Breaking Off ‘Hurt The Heart’ Of Bobby Lashley
Bobby Lashley is indeed one of the biggest names in WWE right now. But to reach this height, he had to go through a lot of sacrifices. One of them being the breakage of his much-talked stable, Hurt Business.
Just before WrestleMania, Bobby fought with his friends Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander which caused the dreadful. Even Bobby himself is upset with this incident. He appeared as a guest on Ryan Satin’s Out Of Character podcast before WrestleMania where he said;
Says it hurt his heart but at the end of the day business is business:
It hurt my heart, to tell you the truth. It was something very special. In the wrestling business, it’s very seldom that really special things come together and you see so many people get behind it. Ultimately, business is business.
Says the group is making adjustments and is not over just yet:
Originally, the Hurt Business was started by MVP and myself. We brought people on that deserved a chance. They took it and ran with it, but the Hurt Business is not over. We’re just making some adjustments. In the next few weeks, we’ll see how those adjustments pan out.
This week on Monday Night Raw, after Drew McIntyre defeated Randy Orton and Braun Strowman in the mentioned triple threat match, he was attacked and beaten down by Mace and T Bar. MVP was seen standing on the isle when the incident took place. No explanation was given about it.
It looks like WWE is rebuilding Hurt Business with fresh new faces. If that has been the idea from the beginning, then we must say it is a very good idea.
Things can even look better if WWE makes Hurt Business even a bigger stable by re-adding Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander. Big factions are very much needed to run a successful show. In past, the Attitude Era of WWE not only became famous because of Stone Cold and Vince McMahon’s feuds but because of the stables as well. This is the biggest reason why WWE needs more stables.
