ToggleLast Saturday at Money in the Bank, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez challenged Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler for the WWE Women’s Tag Team championships. They were never the favorites to win this match as Ronda and Shayna had been extremely dominant as the champion.
But Morgan and Rodriguez shocked the entire world when they defeated the Deadly team of Ronda and Shayna at Money in the Bank. Morgan pinned Ronda after hitting an Oblivion to become the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions for the second time. It was not only a surprising victory but a big one as well.

“If You Want Some, Come Get Some” Liv Morgan And Raquel Rodriguez Issue Open Challenge
However, it was not a very dominant win from Morgan and Rodriguez. Shayna Baszler betrayed her own Tag Team partner Ronda during the match and Morgan and Rodriguez just got lucky. The Deadly MMA duo completely dominated Morgan throughout the match. They could have easily lost if they did not decide to break the team of Ronda and Shayna.
But the women’s Tag Team championships were never lost by Morgan and Rodriguez. They were forced to vacate the titles since Morgan got injured. Speaking on WWE’s The Bump, Morgan and Rodriguez issued an Open challenge to anyone who wanted to challenge for their Women’s Tag Team titles. Here are some highlights of what they said;

Liv Morgan And Raquel Rodriguez Won Back The Women’s Tag Team Titles At Money In The Bank
Liv Morgan on regaining the titles: “We never lost these, so to have your championships stripped from you, and you didn’t even lose — to win them back is so vindicating.”
Raquel Rodriguez on being fighting champions: “But that just goes to prove that we are fighting champs and we will keep fighting to keep these. And that goes for anyone who thinks they want a chance.”

Liv Morgan on their desire to take on anyone on the roster: “I was going to say, these are the Unified Women’s Tag Team Champions now, so anyone and we mean anyone, if they want some, come get some. Watch us.”
The WWE Women’s Tag Team championships were not very well booked. However, Morgan and Rodriguez were doing a very good job as the champions the last time they held the titles. We seriously hope that they keep up the good work and WWE would promote this pair of championships as a serious deal.
