The match turned out to be disastrous than ever after which the fans begged the 52-year legend to stay away from in-ring competition.

But Goldberg is an Icon, after all who can barely step aside without having a last dream bout. He has already teased to come back to wipe out the bad taste created by the Super ShowDown contest on June 7th. WWE creative may be planning a match between these two after what transpired on this past week’s Smackdown. Ziggler insulted a Hall of Famer like Shawn Michaels and super-kicked him. Also, he mentioned his 17-second loss against Kevin Owens to be a ‘Goldberg loss’ that fuelled up the rumors of WWE arranging this match.

However, the same source later hinted that there’s much backstage heat is present between the WWE superstars and Goldberg, at present. So WWE may have backed down from bringing in the former WCW franchise player for the biggest event of the summer. Perhaps no one in the locker room may be ready to compete against the name whom we no more consider being safe worker.

Bayley is facing Ember Moon for the SmackDown Women’s Title whereas Becky Lynch will face Natalya for the Raw Women’s Championship.
