JBL Reveals He Once Got Into A Fight With The Harris Brothers

It took a little time for him to become a renowned star but he actually became quite famous during the famous Attitude era of WWE. He was famously known as Bradshaw during the time. He teamed up with Ron Simmons aka Farooq and together they were known as the Acolytes Protection Agency aka APA.

Their Tag Team became quite famous during the time of Attitude era but during the Transition Era they split up from their tag team before teaming up again in SmackDown in 2003. In 2004 WWE came out with something big for Bradshaw renaming him as JBL and giving him a million dollar man gimmick.

At the Great American Bash pay per view event of 2004, he defeated Eddie Guerrero to win his first and only WWE Championship. He kept on retaining the Championship for almost a year before finally dropping the Championship at WrestleMania 21 to John Cena.

It was the first ever WWE championship win for John Cena. After dropping the title he could never win WWE World Championship ever again, but he won other Championship. In 2020 WWE inducted him into the class of Hall of Fame.

John Bradshaw Layfield aka JBL who is also a former one time WWE World Champion recently spoke on an episode of Stories with Brisco and Bradshaw where he looked back at the incident of getting into a brawl with The Harris Brothers once. He said;

“We had an autograph session one time and somebody had said something to Sable and Vader said something back but Vader had, at that time, a lawsuit or something on his — some fan, he had an interaction that got a little violent and Vader didn’t wanna do anything. Well the Harris boys [Ron & Don Harris] didn’t mind, and they came piling on — it was a pretty good little brawl there for a short time and they did very well.”
