The idea was proposed by the then WWE writer Vince Russo and it is considered as one of the worst ideas ever pitched by him. Most of the parts of this tournament was unscripted and it was mainly booked to promote “Dr. Death” Steve Williams. But he could not go any forward from the quarter final of the tournament as he picked up an injury. The whole thing was ultimately won by Bart Gunn and he defeated Bradshaw at the final of the tournament.

Bart Gunn got to face mixed martial Artist and kickboxer Butterbean at WrestleMania 15. This match literally ended Bart Gunn’s career. He was completely manhandled by butterbean. This unscripted fight showed Bart’s capacity in front of Butterbean.

“I loved The Brawl for All.  I had fun in it.  I won 3 fights.  I got my first house because of The Brawl for All.  I was able, in Athens, TX to buy a house for $84,600 I think it was.  My Brawl for All winnings were $40,000.

“I was lucky, I think, that Bart knocked me out because Butterbean, we realized at that point the difference between professional fighters and just good, tough fighters. Bart Gunn, great guy, and a really tough guy knocking out all the talent. It’s just the difference is when he stepped up to a trained professional.”
