WWE SmackDown roster member Jeff Hardy was reportedly sent home by officials during a house show, this past weekend. This has just added up to the veteran superstar’s troublesome past, it appears although there’s no update is available what actually led to the decision taken by the WWE officials.
As per the reports, Jeff Hardy worked Saturday’s live event in Edinburg, Texas, teaming with King Xavier Woods and Drew McIntyre against WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos in the six-man tag team main event.

He spent most of the match in the ring, getting beat down by The Bloodline and becoming more sluggish as the match progresses. The younger Hardy then made a hot tag to McIntyre but then immediately disappeared into the crowd.
Jeff Hardy reportedly went into the audience at that point, followed by security who then heads to the locker room as he never returned to the ring, and didn’t even participate in the post-match celebration with Woods and McIntyre. In more news to the incident, a fan at the Edinburg live event noted that the popular superstar greeted every fan at ringside and on the entranceway as he made his way to the ring before that main event match.

Jeff Hardy set for a match on Smackdown
Then PWInsider noted that Jeff Hardy missed last night’s WWE live event from the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas, and word going around was that he was sent home from the road. Another veteran Rey Mysterio replaced him in that six-man tag team match lineup.
As noted above, there’s still no solid update on what led to Jeff Hardy disappearing at Saturday’s live event, and why he was sent home from the road by the officials in charge.
The former WWE Champion last worked on TV during this Friday’s SmackDown as he and McIntyre interrupted an episode of Happy Talk hosted by Madcap Moss and Happy Baron Corbin. WWE then announced Hardy and McIntyre vs. Moss and Corbin for next Friday’s SmackDown, which would be a rematch from the November 26 episode where Hardy and McIntyre picked up the win. That match is still being advertised for the upcoming night.
