Future WWE Hall of Famer John Cena who is a former 16 times WWE world champion recently said that the future of WWE would not be stable as long as they continue to bet on an aging prospect.

The claim that John Cena made is very simple. Most of the WWE fans and critics are saying the same thing, WWE keep relying on aging wrestlers and bringing part timers for the main events and title matches of big shows like SummerSlam or Wrestlemania, WWE could not go long.

John Cena Is Unhappy With WWE’s Current Prospect

This trend started when WWE Brought The Rock phone only one or a two booking and gave him the WWE Championship. The trend kept continuing after that. It seemed the trend is coming to an end when WrestleMania 37 did not feature any part timer in any main event matches or title matches.

But once again they have brought back WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg for the main event of WWE SummerSlam this year. He will be challenging Bobby Lashley for the WWE championship at the main event of the show. So this prospect is not over and it does not look like it will end soon.

During a recent interview with USA Today, the former 16 times WWE world champion John Cena recently said that the future of WWE would not be stable as long as they continue to bet on an aging prospect. He said;

“Man, I wish there was some sort of fountain of youth where I could be a full-time contributor. The longer they continue to bet on an aging prospect, that makes (WWE’s) future a little bit less stable.

“I used to chastise people for not working as efficiently as the WWE. And as a young man, I failed big. I was judgmental and I was apprehensive and I wanted to be back in the ring because I loved that immediate gratification.”
