John Cena and parenthood was never really meant to go side by side. As seen on Total Divas and Total Bellas reality show in the past, the WWE Superstar was always against the idea of having kids. He was so much adamant on this thought that it caused a split from her ex-girlfriend, Nikki Bella. But as time flew by the former WWE franchise player may have had a change in heart.
John Cena is currently married to his wife Shay Shariatzadeh after going through an extremely private affair in 2020 after several months of dating. He originally met her in her hometown of Vancouver, British Columbia while working on the film Playing With Fire. The two of them got close to each other, very quickly.

John Cena and Nikki Bella split up over babby issues
As seen in the past, the main issue with John Cena and Nikki Bella was due to this parenthood issue. While Nikki was always willing to become a mother, her partner opposed the idea. In fact, he was so against the idea of becoming a father that, he’d undergone a vasectomy. But after splitting in April 2018, the former pro wrestler and Hollywood star told Bella he’d reverse his vasectomy if it meant he could have her back.
But the elder Bella never wanted to force him to do anything and hence, she decided to part ways with him, forever. While John Cena is very happy with Shraiatzadeh, Bella has already tasted motherhood with his fiancée and current life partner, Artem Chigvintsev, last summer. In a day’s gap, she delivered a baby boy with twin sister Brie who also gave birth to a baby boy with her husband, Daniel Bryan. Currently, she is gearing up for a return to the WWE ring for one last stint.
