Breaking: John Cena WWE Return Announced On February 28 Smackdown
The franchise of the WWE is back where he belongs. After months of anticipation, John Cena is confirmed to make his comeback to his home of WWE in an interesting time. With just a few weeks remaining from the ‘show of shows’, WWE.com has confirmed that the 19-time world champion is returning on the February 28th episode of Smackdown. Here’s more from the news broke by the official website,
“John Cena will return to SmackDown on Friday, Feb. 28, as Team Blue continues down The Road to WrestleMania.
It was on SmackDown where The Cenation Leader made his dynamic debut nearly 18 years ago when he channeled “Ruthless Aggression” to challenge WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle in his debut match. Since that fateful night, Cena went on to become WWE’s standard-bearer, earning 16 World Championships and inspiring countless WWE fans to “Never Give Up.”
An icon in the ring and the star of such blockbuster films as “Bumblebee,” “Blockers” and the upcoming “F9: The Fast Saga,” Cena will soon bring his signature “Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect” back to SmackDown, as first reported by WWE Backstage on FS1. Whatever this unparalleled Superstar has planned, you won’t want to miss it.”

There’s no update on how WWE plans to use John Cena on Smackdown and then on Wrestlemania 36. At present, he is gearing up with the release of his life with the next installment of Fast and Furious series. So the upcoming appearance could serve as promotion for both the biggest event of the year and the much-anticipated release of the action flick where Vin Diesel has the lead role.
Dave Meltzer noted on John Cena performing at Wrestlemania 36 on the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. He said that if the Cenation Leader is free and wants to perform, there’s no way WWE would deny him from doing so. With the hyped advertisement for Smackdown, it does look like that the creative team of the company has come up with a plan for their trusted shoulder.

Previously, John Cena appeared in an interview with The Sun to confirm that he will be more than happy to perform at Wrestlemania 36,
“I will for sure be at the event and I have great trust in the process and I have great faith in Vince McMahon not only as a boss, but as so much more than that.
As a friend, as a mentor. If he were to tell me that he needs me, I would absolutely be active in whatever capacity, whether it would be like last year in New York rapping my way to the ring or the year before being a fan in the stands. There is no job too small.”
It should be noted that Wrestlemania 36 happens at the Raymond James Stadium situated in Tampa Bay, Florida. It is the hometown for John Cena and he is willing to steal the show instead of making a one-off appearance, only. So the current speculation is that WWE will book him in a wrestling capacity.
