Former three times WWE Intercontinental Champion John Morrison recently stated that last week’s Monday Night RAW was really special. Last week’s raw featured some action packed matches and a number of good promos as well.
Last week’s RAW was special because of the shocking results of some of the matches. The opening match of the night which featured Ricochet and AJ Styles was one of the better matches of a night. Ricochet’s victory over AJ styles was a huge boost for the former WWE United States Champion.

John Morrison’s and match against Randy Orton was a big shocker as well. Nobody expected Orton would have been beaten by Morrison at this stage. The former two times WWE Champion Drew McIntyre was beaten by Matt Riddle which was also a big upset.
Then there was the Hell in a Cell match between the WWE Champion Bobby Lashley and Xavier Woods. This was not very common to see such matches in the weekly shows. Overall it was a fantastic week of Monday Night RAW.

RAW is improving slowly WWE SmackDown is still stuck in the corner. It did not seem like they would present such amazing episodes of RAW before the arrival of fans during the live shows. But to back to back RAW has been excellent. We hope SmackDown improves in the same manner as well.
The former ECW Champion John Morrison recently met Steven Muehlhausen of DAZN.com where he praised last week’s Monday night RAW and said it was one of the best RAWs os recent weeks. He said;

“I thought Monday’s episode of Raw was one of the strongest episodes of Raw that I’ve seen in a very long time,” Morrison said. “You nailed it. Like Ricochet beats AJ (Styles), John Morrison beats Randy Orton, and Riddle beats Drew (McIntyre). Nobody saw any of those coming. I think that sometimes is what wrestling needs is a little bit more unpredictability, a little more uncertainty.
“For me, there’s the known and the unknown, and in between are the doors, which by the way, is why The Doors named their group The Doors. Support my namesake, Jim Morrison. But when you’re in the unknown, it’s more interesting because anything can happen. If you always know, AJ is going to beat Ricochet.
“If you know that going in, then suddenly, instead of like, ‘I want to see what’s going to happen’. You’re like, ‘Okay, let’s see how AJ beats Ricochet’. It’s more of a passive viewing experience, and that’s why I think this week was so cool.”
