Professional wrestling legends and WWE Hall of Famer Kane who is a former three times World Champion in WWE and a two times WWE Intercontinental Champion recently revealed why he never went back to WCW after joining WWE in 1995.
Kane is indeed one of the biggest legends of WWE and his character is considered to be one of the best characters ever made by Vince McMahon. The character came into lime light back in 1997. Before that Glenn Jacobs, the person behind the Kane mask was struggling to find success and was going through different gimmicks.

Kane Explains Why He Never Returned To WCW
He joined WWE in 1995 and at first he was given a character of an evil dentist called Isaac Yankem DDS. Needless to say the character flopped. In 1996 he got another gimmick change and he started to play the role of Fake Diesel. It is vastly considered as one of the worst gimmicks ever in WWE history.
But Vince McMahon had bigger plans for Glenn Jacobs. In 1997 he was given the role of Kane. He made his debut under the new character at the Badd Blood pay per view event. His debut is vastly considered as the best ever debut in WWE history and his storyline with the Undertaker is considered as the best story ever told in professional wrestling.

The character was an instant hit. WWE definitely had big plans for Jacobs under this new gimmick and in 1998 he won his first WWE Championship. At the king of the Ring pay per view event of the mentioned year, he defeated Stone Cold Steve Austin to win his first WWE Championship. However the reign is considered as one of the worst as it lasted for only one day.
Jacobs went through a lot of ups and downs during his WWE career but he earned millions of fans worldwide. There are a lot of wrestlers in today’s wrestling world who grow up worshipping Kane. In 2021 he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and currently he is the mayor of Knox county.

Glenn Jacobs who is a former three times World Champion in WWE and a two times WWE Intercontinental Champion recently spoke to Honest Offense with Eric Cervone where he revealed why he never went back to WCW after joining WWE in 1995. He said;
“At that point, I was already in WWE, I already had my opportunity … Yeah, there were people making a lot of money in WCW, but I felt that the future was with WWE and by that time, I also had a personal relationship with them and never felt like leaving.”
