WWE SmackDown star Karrion Kross who is also a former two times WWE NXT champion recently talked about his future in WWE and explain why he is feeling more confident about his future. He also revealed that he turned down several ideas on his first main roster run.
Karrion Kross had always been a big project of WWE. The current WWE Head of Creative Triple H always wanted to promote him as a potential main event star. He was a very strong built main event star in the NXT which is the development Territory of WWE.
Karrion Kross Feels More Confident About His Future
He won the NXT Championship 2 times during his NXT reign and he was pretty successful in the development territory of the promotion. In 2021 he was promoted to the main roster of WWE but he could not do much as he was released from the promotion early. During the time WWE was adjusting their budget due to the covid-19 pandemic. Kross was one of the victims.
Last year he was brought back in WWE once again and it looked like WWE had big plans for him in the main roster of the promotion. He received a victory over former two times WWE World champion Drew McIntyre which made his main event push quite obvious. But unfortunately he is main event push did not continue for long. We hope he gets back to the main event status soon in WWE.

He also revealed that he turned down several ideas on his first main roster run. He said;
“I wasn’t apprehensive at all. 99% of your success in this industry comes down to your ability to compose yourself under stress and pressure. I knew, coming back, what I felt I should say. I felt better with myself in terms of feeling confident to shoot down an idea or a theme or a project that I knew wouldn’t work.
“On top of that, the NXT run that they gave me, it was a murder run. They literally had me clean out everybody and everything. Complete clean kills on everybody. I had no reason to believe that anything would become weird or not work out or something like that.
“This is the one thing they’re asking me to do that I’m not totally 100% on; how foolish would it look, the one time they asked me to do this thing, if I said no? All of that was in my head at the time.”
