Daniel Bryan lost to WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns in a title vs. career match last week on Friday Night Smackdown. After losing this match Daniel Bryan is out of Smackdown and WWE as of now.
Even though Bryan sabbatical was leaked before WrestleMania. But the cause of this break is still not confirmed. Bryan is taking some time off of wrestling for now. However, he can return to action at any time in the future.

Kenny Omega Praised By Daniel Bryan
During a recent appearance on “My Mom’s Basement” podcast last week Bryan praised the current AAA Mega Champion, Impact World Heavyweight Champion and AEW World Champion Kenny Omega.
“I have a lot of respect for Kenny Omega,” Bryan said. (H/T to Wrestling Inc) “And it’s not just the great matches he’s put on. It’s also that he looks at wrestling differently than anybody else.”
Bryan continued, “When you look at say, the Young Bucks, who you’d think of in a similar vein. You can see where the Young Bucks take of wrestling is. It’s like a takeoff, a genius takeoff, of the wrestling they loved when they were younger.

“And mimicking it but also evolving from that and evolving from the takes from that. That’s why I think it resonates with so many people, the way that they wrestle. Kenny, it doesn’t have a previous evolution point. It’s just these completely new things that have entered his head that he’s daring to try.”
Believe it or not, Kenny Omega wrestled for WWE in his early career. He was stuck in the development territory and WWE never took him seriously. Soon he was released never to return to WWE again.
Even though he was approached by WWE three times in total but every time Omega rejected their offers. Omega never made it clear why he did not prefer to go back to WWE, but fans and critics had their own views on it.

Some believe Omega did not want to go back because of the way they treated him earlier. Some also said that he knew WWE’s terrible reputation of burying good wrestlers. He did not want to risk it.
Whatever the reason may be, Omega broke the myth that a wrestler can never be world famous without wrestling in WWE in the recent days. Not only he is world famous today but also one of the best professional wrestlers in the world right now.
