For months now, Kevin Owens has been speculated to move away from the WWE in order to join the All Elite Wrestling promotion. This comes after months of creative misuse and frustrations as she is now expected to reunite with his former friends from NJPW and ROH. Over on this week’s Raw, the superstar himself fueled up the speculations via a promo.
As seen on Raw, Kevin Owens interrupted an in-ring segment with WWE Champion Big E and the current number-one contender Seth Rollins. This eventually led to the setup for this week’s non-title main event match between Owens and Big E. During the promo, some of the most interesting lines were noted to fuel up the rumors.
WWE Network Announces Ruthless Aggression Era Season 2 And Broken Skull Sessions
Kevin Owens talked about how he gives it all in the ring but he can’t remember the last time it worked out well for him. Irrespective of the positive outcomes, he promised to deliver the very best inside the squared circle, whether it’s for 3 more months or 3 more years. It’s certain that the “3 more months or 3 more years” line was a reference to the Raw Superstar’s contract WWE contract coming to an end.

Kevin Owens has a history with current AEW wrestlers
It should be noted that Kevin Owens’ pro wrestling future is being heavily speculated ever since it was revealed that his current WWE contract is set to expire on January 31, 2022. In more news to the situation, Rollins and Big E got involved in an argument over who is the better face of Monday Night RAW. E then came up with a line where he said, “There can be only one face of Monday Night RAW, this isn’t Mount Rushmore.”
Fans have been speculating that this line was a reference to the PWG stable that Kevin Owens was a part of with current AEW stars Adam Cole and The Young Bucks. The team worked a brief stint before Owens signed with WWE in 2014. In early September, Owens and The Bucks used Mount Rushmore references on Twitter to tease that a reunion is possible once Owens’ WWE contract is up.
There’s been no word on if Kevin Owens will re-sign with WWE, but the popular belief is that he will leave WWE to join some of his old friends in AEW. On Raw, he lost to WWE Champion Big E while he is apparently booked in a match against Seth Rollins for next week.
