Former WWE Universal Heavyweight champion Kevin Owens who is also a former three times WWE United States champion recently talked about his desire to have a Tag Team Championship Run along with his longtime friend Sami Zayn. He also said that he wants to win the WWE championship.
Kevin Owens is working in WWE for over seven years along with his longtime friend Sami Zayn. They had a lot of feuds and storylines together but their friendship has never been portrayed in the best possible way in WWE.

Even at the latest WrestleMania which was WrestleMania 37 the duo had a match against each other. And this was not their first match together. They are working together in WWE since their NXT days and every time they step foot into the ring together they do something that fans would remember for a long time.
They have been portrayed as Tag Team partners in the main roster as well. But during that time both of them were heel so they could not be emotionally attached with the fans as a tag team. So they definitely need babyface run as a tag team in WWE.
Owens is currently involved in the WWE championship picture along with the champion Big E, Bobby Lashley and Seth Rollins. But there is a hard chance of winning the title in this occasion. Almost every week he has been jobbing to wrestlers that are involved in this feud.
But he definitely deserves to win the title right now. If he wins the Championship right now it can give the title picture a different Outlook for Wrestlemania. He has already won the WWE Universal Heavyweight Championship one time in the past and he had been an excellent champion.
But his dream to become the WWE Tag Team Champion along with Sami Zayn is not possible right now since Sami is in SmackDown had he has just been drafted to RAW. It is may be possible after the next draft lottery but that is not happening until the end of next year.
Kevin Owens who is also a former three times WWE United States champion recently spoke to TVA Sports’ wrestling podcast, les Anti-Pods de la Lutte, with Pat Laprade and Kevin Raphael where he talked about his desire to have a Tag Team Championship Run along with his longtime friend Sami Zayn. He also said that he wants to win the WWE championship. He said;
“Of course, I’d like to become WWE champion, I’d like to win the tag team titles with Sami. I mean, Sami and I winning the tag belts, that must be written in the stars,” he said. “I don’t see how it couldn’t happen if we are both with WWE. But it’s been six years now, and it had not happened yet, so I guess it might not be happening.
“I also came to realize one thing is recent months, is that a lot of my satisfaction working there does not come from wrestling, but more from watching others wrestle, and seeing them having a lot of success, and sometimes being able to help them.
“Like when someone asks me for an advice, I gave one to them, they try it and it actually works, or when I can bring help to someone else, and it works, to see them having success brings me a lot of satisfaction.
“So in the next few years, what I’d like is to have an important role on the show, and be able to work with Edge and Rey Mysterio, with whom I’d really like to work one day, but one of the goals I want to give myself, is to help anyone who wants my help, because I have a huge sense of accomplishment when I see other people working hard and who deserve to be recognized for their passion or their talent, to see it happening. I think it’s really cool.
“So I could see myself working as an agent one day, because I already have those feelings of accomplishment even if I’m still active. That said, I don’t see myself hanging my boots any time soon, but just to know that it could be a possibility one day, it’s good to know and comforting.”
