Professional wrestling legend and WWE Hall of famer Kurt Angle who is a former six times WWE World Champion and a former six times World Champion in TNA Wrestling recently shared his opinion on who were the unsung heroes of TNA Wrestling.
TNA Wrestling came into existence back in 2002. It went through a lot of ups and downs throughout its time and it is still managing to survive among the big giants like WWE and AEW.

Kurt Angle Gives His View Om Who Were The Unsung Heroes Of TNA
Even though it cannot draw high number of viewership anymore, it comes nowhere near in compared to WWE or AEW in order ratings on viewership, but it is still alive and it is still producing exciting shows.
It has its own roster which does contain some of the greatest names in sports entertainment today. Some of the legends of professional wrestling also work for this promotion as well.
But the promotion was not like this all the time. It did see some great times. There was a time when the roster of TNA wrestling was nearly as stacked as WWE. They had some of the biggest names in professional wrestling in their roster.

But the biggest name they could ever sign has to be the Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle himself who is a former six times TNA World Heavyweight champion. Except of Angle, they also signed the likes of Sting, Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Ric Flair, Mick Foley and many other big names. And that was where the problem lied, they focused more on ready made stars than creating new stars.
But that does not mean that TNA never created any big stars. They did have created some stars who are still working in the world of professional wrestling, mostly in WWE. The biggest time they created has to be AJ Styles who is currently working in WWE and had been a two times WWE World Champion.
Except of him, there is also the Samoan Submission Machine Samoa Joe and who can forget Robert Roode. All of these wrestlers are working in the WWE right now and there is no shame in accepting the fact that the wrestlers created by TNA Wrestling.

Kurt Angle who is a former six times World Champion in TNA Wrestling recently spoke to AdFreeShows.com where he shared his opinion on who were the unsung heroes of TNA Wrestling. He said;
“The Carter family. Dixie’s parents were incredibly supportive. They always came up with the money that was needed. If the company wasn’t making the money that they needed to, the Carters were there.
“They’ve always been there and they did an excellent job at starting this company and making it continue on. Dixie Carter is the best boss I’ve ever had. She is not only stern and strict, but she’s also very caring like a mother, and she takes care of her wrestlers.
“The stuff that I went through and what I put her through, she should have fired me, but instead, she had me go to rehab. She gave me all the time off I needed. Anytime I wanted to take a break, Dixie would let me do it.

“I didn’t have to wrestle. As a matter of fact, there was one year I took nine months off because I had knee surgery and she paid me in full for the whole nine months. Dixie was a great asset to TNA, and without her, I don’t think the company would have done as well.
“The unsung hero that I think? I love Vince Russo. I don’t know how fans think about him or how they feel about him, but Vince was very talented. The success he had in WWE was phenomenal, The Attitude Era.
“When he went to WCW, the problem was he was writing for the wrestlers and they were like, ‘I’m not doing that. I’m going to do whatever I want’, so his storylines turned into something else because the wrestlers turned it into whatever they wanted and so it got diluted.
“I think that’s the reason that WCW kind of went downhill. When he was in TNA, he was phenomenal. He wrote for me every week. I didn’t have any problems with him. I know there are some fans that don’t like him, there are some wrestlers that don’t like him, but Vince was very talented.”
