Kurt Angle Gives His View On Who Is The GOAT Of WWE

The only Olympic gold medalist in WWE history Kurt Angle recently gave his view on who is the actual GOAT in WWE. GOAT stands for greatest of all time for those who do not know about it.

There are a lot of wrestlers in WWE history who can be considered as the greatest of all time, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Undertaker, The Immortal Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, John Cena, Triple H to name a few.

But whom does Kurt Angle thinks is the actual Greatest of Time in WWE history? Recently, WWE Hall of Famer revealed his opinion about the greatest of all time in WWE on his own podcast the Kurt Angle show. He said;

“Bret Hart because I believe he’s the greatest wrestler of all time.  I believe that his in-ring performance, there was nobody better.  I would say Shawn Michaels and Chris Benoit were close, even myself, but I still put Bret up there.  Don’t get me wrong, Ric Flair needs to be up there too because he’s the man and his technique was far superior.

“Ric was a great wrestler that could get people interested in the psychology of the match, but he was also very entertaining.  He took a lot of crazy Ric Flair bumps, the forward bump, the bump off the top of the rope.  You knew when he was going to do it, and you wanted him to do it.  He was different in his technique.  Bret Hart was the best overall technician I’ve ever seen in my life.”

Let us talk about his opinion separately. Shawn Michaels is not only the greatest of all time in WWE but one of the biggest names in professional wrestling history as well. In his 26 year old professional wrestling career, he won a lot of big titles including the WWE World Championship 4 times in total. He showcased an amazing match with Kurt Angle at WrestleMania 21 and it is worth mentioning.

And without any doubt, Chris Benoit is one of the biggest professional wrestlers of all time if not the best. He was mostly considered as the Human Submission Machine and the Rabid Wolverine. He was just started to gain the ultimate success before his life was struck by the unfortunate.

Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle had 2 amazing feuds in 2001 and 2003, both were critically acclaimed. Crispin what could easily be recognized as the greatest of all time has Kurt Angle mentioned if he was still alive.
