Kurt Angle is no more an active member of the WWE roster or backstage team. He was reportedly present for The Undertaker’s final farewell at Survivor Series 2020 edition but he wasn’t used on TV. Although the Olympic gold medallist wasn’t shown, reports hinted prior to the show that he was in attendance and perhaps we could see a glimpse of him in the documentary.
His return had been discussed, online for quite sometimes although it’s unlikely to happen in the WWE. Kurt Angle hasn’t been seen in WWE since May after getting furloughed from the company amid the cost-cutting policy related to the coronavirus pandemic. Six months ago he appeared as a special guest referee for Matt Riddle’s Fight Pit match against Timothy Thatcher.

Kurt Angle Is Taking Steroids, As Per Former WWE Superstar
While it seems that Kurt Angle is done with his competitive persona, it may not be the case. The WWE Hall of Famer shared a quite unbelievable photo of himself on social media. He’s looked in a totally jacked shape in that snap having a rightful caption that stated, “Damn it feels good to be able to train hard again… feeling like I’m in my 30s #MilkDoesTheBodyGood #HealthyMindset.”
The photo wasn’t taken very well by everyone and Fellow WWE Hall of Famer “Superstar” Billy Graham is one of them. He took his Facebook account to note that Angle’s recent transformation was only possible because he has been on steroids. He took a sarcastic way to congratulate Kurt Angle on achieving this incredible shape.
“So fans, Kurt Angle at age 51 has turned his physique completely around. With hard work, eating the right amount of protein, and taking plenty of roids, he has literally transformed himself into another person.
I say congratulations to Kurt as I have always liked this man from the first day I met him. Very respectful to me and was and I am sure, still a class act.”
On a related note, the WWE icon ‘training hard’ could be hinting at a return to the squared circle. But that’s a different story as WWE sent him to retirement after WrestleMania 35. Chances are pretty less that WWE would call him back for one more run but you never know whether AEW would want this former world champion in their scene for a couple of matches.
“I love AEW, you know, I love what they’ve been doing, I think they’ve got a lot of great young talent, they’ve done an excellent job so far,” Kurt Angle told PWInsider while asked about AEW.
“Would I be interested in doing it? I don’t know, I don’t have plans on wrestling. Every once in a while I do something for WWE, I kinda like that.
Maybe somewhere along the line I might do something for AEW but I don’t have any plans to do that.
I do want to move on with my life, you know, the same way I left amateur wrestling – I left and never looked back.”
