Professional wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Fame Kurt Angle who is a former six times WWE World champion and a former six times World champion in TNA wrestling recently talked about Survivor Series 2022 and explained why he did not like the ending of the main event of it.
This year’s Survivor Series only featured five matches they were enough to carry a three hours show. A lot of fans have already started to consider Survivor Series 2022 the best pay per view event of the year so far, or maybe the best since the next pay per view would be Royal Rumble which will take place in 2023. The event was definitely great and some of the matches from the event were really excellent.

This is also the first time that Survivor Series did not feature any traditional Survivor Series elimination tag team match, which had been the signature of Survivor Series throughout these years. For the first time in the history, WWE organized WarGames match in the main roster which had been a signature WCW match.
The card also featured one of the worst worked matches of the Year. It was for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship where Ronda Rousey defended her title against Shotzi. The match was so bad that a lot of fans have already started to consider it as the worst worked match of the year. Fans have started to question Ronda Rousey’s push even more after this match.
On the main event, The Bloodline took on the team of the Brawling Brutes, Drew McIntyre and Kevin Owens. The ending was a little dramatic, and it told a great story as well. Although it received mixed reactions from the fans, it mostly received positive reaction for the way the story was told.
Kurt Angle who is a former six times WWE World champion recently spoke on his Kurt Angle Show Podcast where he talked about Survivor Series 2022 and explained why he did not like the ending of the main event of it. He said;
“I didn’t agree with that, especially making Braun look like a complete a**hole. I’m not sure what they were trying to accomplish at that point. I know that Triple H wanted to get the win. I understand that. But the way they did that just made it look like nobody else mattered but Triple H.
“And that’s not what you want to do with talent that you’re building. It wasn’t great. It wasn’t awesome. It was just a good match. Nobody’s going to remember this years from now. It was just a decent match. Nobody was excited — nobody was high fiving each other. It was just, you know, handshake, good match.”
