Professional wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle who is a former six times World champion in WWE and a former six times TNA Heavyweight Champion of the World recently talked about Olympic gold medallist Gable Steveson. Angle feed that he believed WWE is yet to push Steveson.

Gable Steveson won the gold medal in the 2020 Olympics for the United States and he had been signed by WWE as a professional wrestler in 2021. He was even drafted to Monday Night RAW in 2021 and it was a very special moment as the last Olympic gold medallist to work in WWE was Kurt Angle.

Kurt Angle Predicts WWE’s Stance On Gable Steveson

The fans were expecting to see a similar push for Gable Steveson that Angle went through during the Attitude Era and the Ruthless Aggression era. Angle had been one of the top stars of WWE during his time. Fans had already started to predict Steveson as the next Kurt Angle.

But he is yet to make any appearance on Monday night RAW since she had been drafted to the red brand of WWE last year. Of course he made an appearance at WrestleMania 38, and it seemed like that this might be the time for him to finally join WWE on a permanent basis. But he is still yet to perform in WWE. Fans are badly waiting to see him in the WWE ring as everyone has high expectations from him.

There are even rumours that WWE has plans to have him as the youngest world champion in WWE history and he is going to beat the record set by Randy Orton. But these are still all talks and there is no confirmation on when he would finally work.

A video promo of a superstar return was showing recently on WWE. Fans predicted this might be Steveson as they should an Olympic gold medal during the promo. But ultimately it was turned out ot be Edge. There is no confirmation on when Gable Steveson would make his debut.

Kurt Angle who is a former six times World champion in WWE of the World recently spoke on NBC Sports Boston where he talked about Olympic gold medallist Gable Steveson. Angle feed that he believed WWE is yet to push Steveson. He said;

“I think the reason is his size, he’s probably 170 pounds, you know, five foot eight. I think that bears a little bit on the reason why he’s not being pushed as much as he should be. But I think he’s an amazing talent, I think the WWE can do a lot with him. He’s very technical, he has a lot of charisma, he’s a very talented kid, and I think he would do extremely well if the company pushed him.”

“I wanted to manage Jason Jordan and Chad Gable back in the day, and it never occurred. It was brought up in meetings but it just never happened.”
