Professional wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle who is a former six times World Champion in WWE and also a former six times TNA World Heavyweight Champion recently talked about his final run with the WWE. He had a short run of three years in WWE after leaving TNA Wrestling in 2016.
After leaving WWE in 2006, Kurt Angle decided to join the rival promotion of WWE back in the time TNA Wrestling. To date Angle is recognized as the biggest signing of TNA wrestling history. He had an amazing 10 year career with TNA Wrestling.

Kurt Angle Reflects On His Final Run With WWE
In this ten year time period, Angle remained the face of TNA Wrestling and won a total of six TNA World Heavyweight Championship. In 2016 he left the promotion and in 2017 he was brought back by WWE and was inducted into the Hall Of Fame.
After returning to WWE he was given and on screen Television role as the General Manager of Monday Night RAW. Angle was mostly famous for his heel role in professional wrestling but he was never given a chance to go heel since his return in WWE.
He had a number of matches and had a feud with Baron Corbin, but Angle was forced to job according to the policy of WWE, legends are only used to job to new wrestlers unless you are Undertaker or Triple H. At WrestleMania 35 Angle fought his retirement match Baron Corbin and lost. After that he never appeared on a televised wrestling match.

Even though Angle claimed that he is in the best shape of his life, he never returned to in ring action after that. He was doing a backstage role in WWE but in 2020 he was released from the promotion never to return in the world of professional wrestling once again since then.
He was released because of the budget cut due to covid-19 pandemic and it was revealed that he would have stayed with WWE pandemic did not stuck. The final run of Angle with WWE was really bad and it was not needed at all.
Kurt Angle who is a former six times World Champion in WWE and also a former six times TNA World Heavyweight Champion recently spoke on Talk Is Jericho podcast where he talked about his final run with the WWE. He said;

“Well Vince [McMahon] said, ‘Well Kurt, you can do that next year.’ I was like, ‘Vince, I’m retiring this year.’ He said, ‘Well if you wait another year, I could do that for you.’
“I said, ‘No, no, I’m gonna do it this year’ because there was no way in hell I was gonna wrestle another year especially in WWE because all they were gonna do was job me out for the whole year so, I knew — I could see the writing on the wall and I didn’t know if I wanted to be a part of that.”
