Kurt Angle Says He Was Surprised When WWE Let Daniel Bryan Go

Another clueless decision that WWE made during this covid-19 pandemic situation has to be letting Daniel Bryan go for nothing. WWE is currently suffering to build up a constant babyface to lead the promotion. Both of the lead wrestlers from RAW and Smackdown are heel. And whatever they have their letting them go.

On the other hand, on RAW, Bobby Lashley vs Bray Wyatt for the WWE championship could have been an amazing feud.

But one more time WWE came up with a clueless decision as they let Bray Wyatt go. Same on the SmackDown roster as well. Daniel Bryan was the only constant babyface of the promotion and they let him go. He is now in their rival promotion AEW.

“I’m really surprised at that. I never thought that WWE would let him go. Daniel was a big part of the company for the past ten or so years. He was literally the top babyface in the company for a few years, so, I’m really surprised they let him go.

“But Daniel is probably happier in AEW for whatever reason. I don’t know if it was money or if he wasn’t happy with the direction of his character, but it had to be something that made him leave.”
