Former WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle who is a former six times world champion in WWE recently said that WWE should not stop bringing in the independent wrestling talents. He also said that he would tread on that very lightly.

Recently it was seen that the WWE is not bringing enough talents from the independent circuit. But it has been a recruitment policy of WWE for years. In a number of years WWE has brought in a lot of independent talents and some of them are already big stars.

Kurt Angle Thinks WWE Should Not Stop Signing Indie Talents

For a recent example, Daniel Bryan was one of the most over wrestlers in WWE during his prime time. He was one of the top baby faces of the promotion. WWE Brock theme from the independent wrestling. He was also working in the Ring of Honor professional wrestling promotion, and after living that promotion he kept on working on the independent circuit before Finally signing with WWE in 2009.

There are many other WWE stars who came from the independent wrestling and are doing quite excellent. WWE made a lot of Independent stars famous and of course they had all the potentials to be the climbing on top. But it looks like WWE is changing their policy on Independent wrestlers stars.

Kurt Angle who is a former six times world champion in WWE recently spoke with  Wrestling Inc. Daily where he said that WWE should not stop bringing in the independent wrestling talents. He said;

“I would tread very lightly on that because there are a lot of incredible independent wrestlers. Wrestlers that never did any real sport but they’re very good at their craft, and I would like to see the percentage.

“Fortunately, for me, I was a real athlete and won a gold medal at the Olympics. These kids that are trained to be pro wrestlers and working at the independent shows, they’re doing a lot of the work and they’re crafting their skills and their character.

“I don’t know how much character development occurs down at NXT, but I think a lot of character development occurs in independent shows.”
