One of the biggest names of wrestling that Kurt Angle never fought in his prime was The Hardcore Legend Mick Foley. The duo have definitely produced a five star performance if they fought during the Attitude Era. Both of them were present during the mentioned time and they were doing excellent.

Kurt Angle’s Missed Opportunity: Wrestling Icon He Wishes He Could Have Fought in Their Prime

Angle recently expressed his disappointment on not wrestling Foley during both of their primes. They could have also wrestled each other during the WWE Ruthless Aggression Era when Foley did appear a number of time. During the latest episode of his ‘The Kurt Angle Show’ Podcast, the Olympic Gold Medallist said;

“Even with Mick’s limitations because of his conditioning and everything, if I was 100% healthy, I could have made the match look a lot better. I would have been able to do a lot more stuff, make Mick look a lot more dominant. I would have been able to make the match much better than it was.

Kurt Angle Faced Mick Foley At TNA Victory Road 2009

“I wish Mick was in better wrestling shape. I know he wished he was, but still, it wasn’t bad. I was really happy with the match. Especially with my groin injury, knowing that he didn’t have the conditioning that he wanted. I thought the match wasn’t shit. I thought it was okay,” Kurt said.

“Don’t get me wrong. I wish Mick and I could have wrestled in our prime. At this point in time, Mick was a little bit past his prime. I was still kind of in my prime, but I was injured. Don’t get me wrong, Mick can still go. He could still go today.” Concluded the former five WWE World Champion.

Kurt Angle and Mick Foley did wrestle each other but that was on TNA Wrestling and Foley was pretty much out of his prime during the time. They wrestled on the main event of TNA Victory Road 2009 and it was presented as a big match. But unfortunately, it is pretty much forgotten by the wrestling world.
