Lacey Evans was involved in a storyline alongside Ric Flair which could have also received a big pay-off, as per the previous reports. But then she became pregnant, all of a sudden. Primarily, the belief was that WWE was using this as a storyline angle which was definitely not the case.
There were plans to make Lacey Evans the RAW Women’s Champion in a storyline with Ric and Charlotte Flair, but instead, she had to leave the television and focus on growing her own family. She’s has been approaching closer to deliver baby number two in due course. In the meantime, she seems really exhausted from her own condition.
It’s almost certain that Lacey Evans will be back in the ring in due course. But as of now, she’s spending time with her family. She hit the beach recently to show off a bit while also flaunting her baby bump so that it could get some sun. She posted some photos of herself digging away at the beach, perhaps looking forward to some buried treasure. But then we learned that she managed to dig a hole in the sand for her third-trimester baby bump while lying there.

“Desperate times call for Desperate measures,” was the caption given by Lacey Evans in which WWE Hall of Famer Torrie Wilson commented by saying, “Haha you so cute.” Another Hall of Famer Mark Henry also commented on the post, “The tummy hole!!! Im doing this now.”
Lacey Evans was set to win Raw Women’s Title
Lacey Evans was scheduled to challenge Asuka for the Raw Women’s Championship at the WWE Elimination Chamber PPV event. According to the reports of Fightful Select, WWE nixed plans for Evans to win the RAW Women’s Title from Asuka at that event. This plan was pulled due to her pregnancy.

As you can see, Lacey Evans missed a lifetime opportunity to walk into Wrestlemania 37 as the reigning champion. This could be a huge landmark for her career but then again family comes first, for her. She has previously worked hard as a mother in her way to the title match and perhaps in the future, she will manage to get more such opportunities.
