Lana has slowly turned into a babyface on Raw through the tortuous acts by the Women’s Tag Team Champions Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax. While many thought that WWE was just punishing her for her husband Rusev’s addition to the All Elite Wrestling promotion, it appears to be just a hoax. In reality, it was just an indirect process to elevate her status on the roster.
Lana appeared to be the sole survivor for Team Raw at Survivor Series 2020 PPV event. Moving on, she received a title opportunity against Asuka. Now she has formed a team on the red brand with the Raw Women’s Champion while expecting bigger opportunities to arrive. These two could end up as the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

The Ravishing Russian likes to dance which is a favorite hobby of Auka, too. So these two might just get along and take photos, together. Lana tweeted out a photo of herself lounging around. She provided a caption that implies for Asuka, as well. Additionally, she posted a set of bikini photos on Instagram asking the fans how they’ve spent their weekend.

Ringside News exclusively reported that Vince McMahon has confirmed some of the matches for TLC. Lana and Asuka vs Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax are one of those matches that should be contested for the Women’s Tag Team Titles. The feud is ongoing on Raw for quite sometimes and it’s only fitting that a title match could bring a fitting end to it.
Lana capturing the belt possessed by Jax and Baszler could be a perfect end of the ongoing storyline of going through commentary tables on nine different occasions. This could also make the Asuka 2 Belts tag a reality at TLC. We’ll have to wait to see if that happens. Perhaps the challengers may end up posing for a photoshoot or TikTok dance video, together.
It’s good to know that Lana is in a good phase of her career overcoming the mental stress she had, earlier this year. This is what she had to say about the bitter experience during the Chronicle episode dedicated to her,
“For me, what was really, really hard was, usually going to arenas and people boo you, it’s something about the energy, you’re like, ‘oh, I’m in control of this,’ right? But then when all of a sudden I don’t interact with any people whatsoever and I’m just at home and I post something and everyone is just so mean.”
